美國太空探索科技公司（SpaceX）的火箭將於上午5時24分從佛羅里達州發射升空，搭載2.5噸的美國國家航空暨太空總署（NASA）設備前往國際太空站（ISS）。

這枚火箭將於發射3天後，在地球上方400公里處與國際太空站對接。

就連用來載運貨物、固定在火箭上方的「飛龍號」（Dragon）無人太空貨艙也是回收再利用，飛龍號太空艙2016年就曾前往國際太空站執行任務。

29日的發射將是SpaceX自2012年以來執行的第15次任務，其中一次在飛行途中爆炸。另一家公司「軌道ATK」（Orbital ATK）也完成了9次補給任務，期間也發生過一次爆炸。

NASA如今極為仰賴私人企業，這個美國太空機構已和SpaceX和波音公司（Boeing）簽署合約，只要太空艙打造完成，明年就會開始載送太空人到太空。

The rocket will be docked with the International Space Station 400 kilometers above the Earth three days after launch.

This rocket is not new. It sent the NASA satellite into orbit two months ago and then returned to Earth to land on a platform off the Atlantic Ocean beyond Cape Canaveral.
